- Remembering and understanding are both results of typical learning activities. We transfer knowledge, skills and behavior into our hard wired grey cell circuit, se we can recall it when needed (remembering) and link it to the other pieces to understand the world
- Applying and analysing are two verbs that link immediately with performance, with doing. Experience and experimentation are crucial for competence building. Analysing makes me think of a context, and a context is what you need to translate your competence into performance.
- Evaluating and creating are two sharing activities. Evaluating is one if and only if you provide feedback of course, and that is sharing your opinion. Creating can be both 'do' and 'share' I suppose, but I'll put it here because of the symmetrie of the 2-2-2 rule :-) . Creating is sharing because it brings new insights to the community of practitioners.
So, the new Bloom levels link to learing, doing and sharing. At least if you wear my glasses :-)
